April 25, 2013: Scratches

One thing that I hate the most is when Cd's and DVDs get scratches on them and then they are not any good anymore because they will skip when they are played. When this happens then most of the time I just through that CD or DVD in the trash and go buy a new one so I will not have to worry about it skipping and missing up while I'm trying to listen or watch it. I would love it if they never got scratched because them I would not have to worry about buying anymore.

April 23, 2013: Prom

Well prom is in two days and I am getting really excited because I will be going with one of my best friends, his name is Ryan. Ryan is the kind of guy to be really shy when he is around people he does not know but as soon as he gets to know them a little bit he starts to open up some and talk a little more. I know that deep down he is really excited because this will be his first prom and he will be going with one of his best friends as well. I think I might be a little more excited to be able to wear my dress than go to the prom because I love my dress so much, I do not think I have loved any of my dresses as much as this one. But the time has come so I can wear it and have a good night too.

April 24, 2013: Nature

Today is a beautiful day outside and my brother and I thought it would be a good idea for us to take a bike ride down to the river and go fishing. As we got together all of the things we would need like our fishing pole's, tackle box, and our bikes my brother thought it would be a good idea to take a few bottles or water and some healthy snacks just in case we are there for a while and start to get a little hungry. While he got everything packed up and ready to go I went in to get a cooler ready of water and snacks. Because we are going on bikes we had to make sure that the cooler was small and light so it was easy to carry. We got to the river and started to fish and by the time we were ready to go home we had cough about thirty fish but only took how the ten really big ones for a small fish fry.

April 19, 2013: Opportunity

When I hear the word opportunity I think of all the things I get to do everyday that people in other country's may not be able to do because of many reasons. I have the opportunity to play sports and go to school and make a good life for myself when people in some country's do not even have food to eat for days sometimes. When I think of all the things that I have and then I think of the things that others do not have I feel bad because I take all of these tings for granted. If I had the opportunity to help people in a third world country then I would because they are the ones who need help the most. One day I would love to be able to give others the opportunity's that I have.

April 17, 2013: The Ghost

It was a nice sunny day outside and I was sitting outside on our swing eating some carets, and out of know where dark clouds covered the sky and the wind started to pick up fast. Out of the corner of my eye I could see a light colored figure. I turned my head to look at the figure and when I did I seen this ghost standing about one foot from me. I got extremely cold and I could see my breath. The ghost only said one thing to me, he told me that I should be careful for what I wish for, when he told me that I went inside and told my mother that I was sorry for everything I had ever said that was mean and that I loved her. The sun came back out and the day was good again.

April 16, 2013: Colors

People ask me what color I like the most and ever time I tell them that I do not have a favorite color, why I am not sure. I like one color just as much as I like another color. I do not feel as though everyone has to have a favorite color but I do think that people should like colors because I feel as though they can show how a person is feeling. For example when I see the color red is feel mad, when I see blue I feel sad, and when I see the color yellow I always feel excited. I think I feel this way because those were the emotions that I was taught to put with those colors. I think that a lot of people my age and a few years older and younger might feel this way.  

April 12, 2013: Caramel

When I think of caramel the first thing I think of is caramel apples. I am not a fan of caramel apples but I am however a fan of candy bars that have caramel in them, I wish all candy bars had some kind of caramel in them. Caramel is thick and sticky and always cause me to make a mess. Even though I like caramel so much it as hard for me to eat if it is a little hard because it always gets stuck in my teeth and I can never seem to get it out so I have to go and brush my teeth to get it out.

April 11, 2013: No Softball Game

Last night we had a storm that passed through the area. I knew that as soon as it started to rain that it would be raining for a while and that would mean that we would not have a game today. I am happy that do not have a game today because it is wet and cold outside and when you have a combination like this people always end up sick and that is something that we do not need because there is only nine girls on the softball team. I do hate that we will not have a game because many of our games have been canceled and that is not good for us because that means we can not have practice either, but we always do good on game days even without practice so I am not worried about it.

April 10, 2013: The New Puppy

Sally woke up this morning feeling good about the day she was about to begin. As she was walking to the bathroom so she could start get ready for her day she had noticed that her hair comb was not in the place she would put it every morning. Sally did remember that her new puppy was still young and had not yet grown out of taring things up just yet. After she had thought about it for a few minuets she finally came to the conclusion that her new puppy had got a hold of it. Sally went outside to find her husband looking for his hammer he had just had last night in the house, he had thought he took it and put it back in its place. Sally and her husband had both went inside and found a bunch of wood that had been chewed on back behind the end table. At this time they both knew that they needed to do something about the puppy so they started to put her out at night and when they left the house.

April 9, 2013: The Last Moments

In eighteen days the class of 2013 will be leaving for our senior trip. This will be the last trip we will ever take as a class before we graduate on May 12, 2013. When I think of this trip that we will be taking together I start to think of the first day of school and all the days in between, thinking of who has come and who has gone and when has happened in the three years that I was not here. When we arrive back home I know the first thing I will do is go to sleep, but when I wake up the next morning I know that my life will change forever. When it is time for graduation I know that I will be the first one to cry because for the last half of the school year I have been crying every time I think of leaving this place. Even though we will not be class mates any longer I know that we will always be family and we will always be there for one another.

April 8, 2013: Beginning vs End

What is better the beginning of something or the end something? If I had to pick on or the other I would have to pick the ending to something, because I have the opportunity to see how everything turns out. Even if it does not turn out as well as I hope for I still have the ability to see what happened and why it happened, and isn't that what makes a story or an event? Yes the beginning's are just as good because I get to see how everything started but to me the ending is the best part.

April 4, 2013: Bernie Game

Yesterday us softball girls had a game playing Bernie at Bernie. For not playing for a few days and not having practice on the days that we did not have a game I think we all did well playing a team that can both hit and run the bases well. Yes there were a few times where we had all messed up at one point or another which is fine because it is almost imposable to go a full game and not have a mess up at all. Even though we did not win the game we only lost by two it was a good experience for all of us, even the ones that have played them in the past because we can always see things that we need to work on. Over all I think we all did a great job.

April 3, 2013: Hunting trip

It was a warm day in the middle of April. A young girl about the age of five or six named Hannah was out playing with her Barbies in the back yard. Her dad came over to her and sat down beside her and asked if she would like to hunting with him, well as we know most little girls do not want to go out hunting they want to stay and play with their toys because little girls thing that hunting is for boys. Well Hannah thought to herself for a moment that it might be kind of fun, of course hunting is no big deal for her because everyone in her family were big on hunting.

Hannah had decided to go hunting with her dad and just as soon as they go to the spot where they were going to hunt a six point deer comes walking up to them so Hannah's dad asked her if she would like to kill the deer and she said yes. Hannah got the gun up on her shoulder and had the perfect shot so she took it, and the next thing she knew she had just killed her first deer. while Hannah and her dad were taking the deer back to the house to clean it up Hannah told her dad that she was happy that she had gone hunting so she could spend some time alone with him. At the end of the day the family sat down at the dinner table to eat and everyone was happy.

April 2, 2013: No Game

I am not one to want to cancel a softball game, but when it starts to rain or sleet it is time to reschedule the game or just cancel it in all. I hate to do that because we have already had two or three games that have been canceled because of the weather or because a school does not write down that they have a game. I would love for the game to be canceled that way I can go home and put my car under the carport because the back windshield leeks, but we really do not need to miss another game because we have not been having practice and we do not need to get out of the swing of things, even though we have four to five games every week.

April 1, 2013: Day vs. Night

I am more so a night kind of person than a day kind of person. Their are both good and bad things about day and night like during the day their are all kinds of shops that are open but night time is the time where I can just go and ride around and just hang out with friends and have a good time.

For as long as I can remember I have never wanted to go to bed at night I have always wanted to sleep during the day. My mom tells me that she has been the same way for a long time and it is not because we have something wrong with us we just have our days and nights mixed up. Wanting to sleep during the day is hard for me because I always have a lot of things that I have to do during the day because they can not be done at night so I have to stay up, but everyday at about eight o'clock I am up and ready to go out and do something know matter what it is. I do not think that it is that big of an issue because I have grown up this way and along the way I have learned how to control it.

March 21, 2013: Spring Break

This Friday I will be going to my dads to spend some of my Spring break with him and my sister. I am not sure what I am going to do yet because my dad lives out in the middle of know where, so really I could do whenever I want because there is know one around for a good twenty to thirty miles. I will probably go to my aunts house one night to stay the night so I can help her take care of my cousins who are both under the age of fore and they are wild. Wednesday night I have to come home because I have a game Thursday at one and I cant miss that game. Hopefully I will have some kind of fun. 

March 20, 2013: Taylor Swift and Tarter Sauce

On night Taylor Swift had a concert in St. Louis. As everyone was gathering in the auditorium to see her sing, up in a balcony above her sat a room full of people who did not like Taylor. Before the room full people got to the room they thought it would be funny to do something mean to humiliate her. As they were thinking of something to do one guy shouted out "I think we should dump tarter sauce on her, because not only does it look nasty but it smells that way too." They all thought this was an amazing idea. After they had gathered up a lot of tarter sauce they put it in balloons so it would be easy the handle. Now it was the night of the concert and some how they had got the tarter sauce balloons in the room above the stage. When they got to the room and the concert had started they thought it would be a good idea to weight till the show was almost over then they would through the balloons. The time was here and they all got a balloon to through and at the same time they all hit Taylor in the face and the show had come to an end and the people were never caught. 

March 19, 2013: Senior Trip

Counting the only the days we are in school we have twenty-eight days left. In twenty-eight days we will be leaving for our senior trip. We will be leaving March 5, 2013 at about midnight. We will be going to the Bahamas and will be making two stops. I am more than excited to be going on this trip not only because I will be going on it with my class but because I more then likely not go on another cruse. I will be spending all my time at school and work when I get a job trying to help pay for my college. I know that on our trip I will have a lot of fun but I also know that I will be vary sad because when we get back we will be parting ways, hopefully because most of us will be staying around here we will not end up like the other classes and brake apart.

March 14, 2013: Yellow

Because it is Thursday today is a free write I am sitting here trying to think of something good to write about and on the wall in front of me is a sticky note that is yellow and what better time to write on yellow then now because it is soon to be sunny outside all the time. I think this would be a good time to write on the color yellow and what I think of when I see this color. I think the color yellow is an amazing color in the Spring and Summer because flowers and plants are starting to grow back and there are colors everywhere and not to mention it is always bright and sunny outside. When I just think of the color yellow I always think of a nice day on the beach or even in the back yard having a family gathering with a few friends if you so chose.

March 13, 2013: Saturday Night

It was a Saturday afternoon Mike was outside working on his car while his wife Breanna was in the house getting ready to go out with Mike for their Saturday night date night, because it takes Breanna so long to get ready Mike thought it would be a good idea to try and fix an old car. Mike was cleaning up all of his tools when he noticed that his wrench was missing, Mike is the kind of person who likes for all of his things to be put in one spot and that is where they stay and he is unable to move on to the task until everything is put back where it belongs. As Mike tries to find his wrench Breanna is inside about to dry her hair but she can't find her blow drier. She looks all around the house for a few minuets and then she remembers that she had left it in the car when they had came back from a trip. Now that Mike had found his wrench and Breanna had found her hair drier they are both getting ready for the night to start.

March 12, 2013: My Last First Softball Game

Next Monday, on the eighteenth I will be playing my last first softball game and I'm not going to lie there is a good chance I will cry before we play. This game will be agents Malden at 4:30. Thinking about this game is one of the hardest things I will have to do this season. This makes me really sad because I know that after this I will not play for another school team again. I think that if we as a team play together like I know we can we will be able to win many games this season because not only do we have some girls that can through and hit good but I know that know matter what they will try their hardest and they wont give up. I think that we have a good chance at winning many games because there is only a team or two that has a good pitcher and they cant through fast at all so in order to hit good we are going to have to wait on the pitch a little bit longer than we normally would.

March 11, 2013: Ties vs Bow Ties

When I think of a tie I think of a business man or an man that works in an office of some kind, and when I think of a bow tie I think of men in the the years before the 1980s. If I had to wear a tie or a bow tie, I would wear a tie because I feel like a bow tie makes a person look like they have a neck bigger then they really have and a tie kind of takes away from your neck. To me a tie looks more professional and a bow tie looks to be more formal. A tie might be harder to tie but they look better than a bow tie.

March 7, 2013: Fishing

When I think of fishing I think of a sunny day when its not to cold and just relaxing. I think that when most people think of fishing they think of that as a guy's thing to do on the weekend and they never think of it being a girls thing too. I love to go fishing, and I think I enjoy it so much because my uncle is a big time fisher and he would always take me, my sister, Eric, and Brandon with him all the time so I know how to fish. For me fishing in a ditch or a larger creek are the places to fish because they are the places I have grown up fishing in. The part I love the most is when you can start to feel a fish start to play with the bate. The part I hate the most is having to sit and wait for something to happen and sometime that wont happen for a long time.

March 6, 2013: Kree and the bird

Kree was one of the happiest girls today because it was Friday and she didn't have school today, so she thought it would be fun to go and gather up some of her friends and go down to the park and play for a while. After they had been there playing in the local park for a few hours Kree's friend Tiena seen this big while object over in the bushes, so they all walked over to it and as they looked in the bushes they seen that the white object was an old toilet that had just been dropped off there. Inside the toilet they heard a soft bird sound and sure enough in the toilet there was a pigeon laying on an old blanket. The pigeon looked to have a broken wing and was unable to fly. Kree couldn't just leave the bird there with no help at all so she and her friends took the bird to Tiena's home until Monday. On Monday Kree and Tiena took the bird to their teacher to see if there was something that they could do. The teacher thought it would be a good idea for the class to help nurture the bird back to health and release the bird back out into the wild where it belongs. Weeks went on and it was time to let the bird go and the bird left and was ready to find his family and friends again. 

March 5, 2013: Pink

If someone were to ask you when you hear the word pink what is the first thing you think of, well when I hear the work pink I think of a newborn baby girl, or even a little girl playing with her Barbies or playing with a princess toy. I think these are the things that most people think of because that is what girls have been given to play with so that is what we think of. Boys on the other hand do not think of these things to be honest I have know idea what boys think of when they see pink or even when they hear the word pink and I am fine not knowing because I am not a boy. I like the color pink but I am not one to wear it all the time, but then again I am because my North Face is hot pink and it is worn almost everyday.  

March 4, 2013: Yes or No

For the most part I would much rather someone tell me yes, but on the other hand sometimes no is not that bad to hear either. The times I would like to hear the word yes is when I ask my mother if I can go somewhere with friends or something like that. I think that hearing the word yes makes most everyone happy because it means that they are able to do something that they did not think that they would be able to do. The times I do not mind for someone to tell me no is when I ask a friend if someone is talking about me behind my back and I know that my friend is telling me the truth when they say no or even when I ask for a new car even though I know in the back of my head that I wouldn't get the car.

March 1, 2013: Integrity

Integrity is defined as being honest and having strong moral principals. I think that the world is beginning to loose the almost all on the people that have integrity because now days all you see on TV are people who have killed someone and or they have done something to cause them to be sent to jail for an extended period of time. Integrity is having the ability to tell the truth at all costs and knowing that that you have done the right thing. Yes it might cause someone else to get hurt or in trouble but things like that will happen sometimes. Most of the time if a child has done something wrong and they are about to get in trouble the parents might go a little easier on them if they tell the truth the first time and not lying to them when the parents already know the truth. Hopefully one day their will be more people in this world with integrity.

February 28, 2013: Our Last Basketball Game

Tuesday night at six o'clock PM our boys started playing a game, but this was not just any other game. This was sectionals. This is the night they want to show everyone that they can win sectionals and go to regional and have a shot at going to state in basketball. They want to show everyone that for the last four years in a roll that they have been in this very spot that they can win and that time starts now. On this night once again we play SCC. I know that these boys have what it takes to win this game. The game has started and the boys were not off to a good start but they are playing ball the way they always have. By half time they are only down by a few points and before to long they tie the game up 66 to 66 but by the end of the game we had lose by only six points, but that is better than the twenty or fifty that we have lose to them in the past. Even though they didn't win they game I know that they played hard and the best they could and I am so proud of each and everyone of them.

February 27, 2013: Baby's first puppy

About six weeks ago our day had ten puppies. Some how this young lady named Sandy found out that we are wanting to get rid of all of the puppies but one. When Sandy pulled into our drive way to put up the puppy that she had talked to my mother about she got out of her car and walked around to the other side and then she came around the front of the car Sandy had brought with her, her daughter that looked to be about eight to ten months old. Sandy sat her daughter on the ground and the one puppy that my mother and her had talked about was the only puppy to walk right up to the little girl and just laid in the girls lap and right then in the moment sandy knew that this was the puppy that was going to go home with then that day. Sandy handed my mother the money for the puppy, put the little girl in the car, and the puppy in a box in the back as well and went on her way starting a new chapter in their life.

February 25, 2013: Watermelon vs Bicycle

A watermelon and a bicycle are not things that a person would normally think to have anything in common. just a few things come to mind when I think about these two things one is the weight of both objects can be about the some if you are talking about the average size watermelon and bicycle, and that thy both have the ability to roll either because it is round or because it has wheels, either way they can both move.

February 22, 2013: Kindergarten

I think that kindergarten was one of the best years because half of the day was spent doing fun activities and games and or outside playing on the playground. Above everything the number one thing I loved was being able to take naps in class without getting in trouble. Some of the best memories were made in kindergarten, we were getting to know the people that we would be spending the rest of our elementary and high school life with. Yes we had time were some kids didn't like others but we all got over that and now we are all family in each others eyes, and that is one thing that I will be thankful for, for the rest of my life. I can remember times where we would all help the others with something, or try anyways. Much like we do now in the last month or so then we will be going our own ways. Kindergarten is the time to make life long friends that will always be there for you any time you need help or just want someone to talk to, you can always lean on one of them.

February 21, 2013: Getting Out of School

Today and tonight we are getting so pretty bad weather. At this moment it is sleeting just a little this morning which gave us a two hour school delay this morning so we didn't have to be at school until 10:00 A.M. Now the teachers are thinking we might get out of school early because the bad weather that we were supposed to get last night is just now getting here. The weather channel said that we were to be getting some rain, ice, sleet, and snow one right after the other.

I hope that we are able to go home early now because we have been here for the amount of time that we needed to be here in order to not have to make up this day. If we were to have to make this day up I would not be happy because I have already made planes for the day we would make up this day. I hope that the weather does not get as bad as what everyone is saying because I don't want to have to say in my house all weekend.

February 20, 2013: East vs West

The East and the West are both directions, but if you are to go to the East you will remain going East until you want to change directions and if you were to go West you would remain going West until you change directions as well. When I think of East and West I think of a circle because if you think about it that's what you are doing you are just going in one big circle. I like West better than the East because when I drive home in the afternoons I am already awake and the sun does not bother me as much as it does in the mornings when I am on my way to school.

February 19, 2013: Movies

Today we have to write about whatever we would like to write on and so I chose to write on one of what I think is the best movie of all time, Here Comes the Boom. This movie is one of those movies that will keep you laughing through the entire thing and does not get boring. For those of you who have not seen this movie yet it is about a guy who is a teacher at a local school but he is almost always late for class. He finds out that one of the other teachers is about to have a baby and is about to be let go from his job. The main guy decides to help his out and raise money by entering MMA fights and winning and if he were to win the last fight he would win all of the money and get an MMA contract to fight full time. All of the money the the main guy wins he is putting towards the school to keep music program and teacher will be able to keep his job and be able to pay for the things that his new son will need. At the end of the movie the main guy wins all of the money and the teacher, school, and music program is saved.  

February 15, 2013: Finger nails

When I was told that we had to write on finger nails I didn't know what to say, but I have sat and thought about what to say and I am not one to let my finger nails get to long why I am not sure but it's funny to me because I love to go and get fake nails put on at a nails salon and I will want to keep them on as long as I possibly can. I think I do this because I feel like fake nails look cleaner and they are not as easy to brake like real nails are. The only bad thing about fake nails is when your real nails start to grow that means that it is time to go back to the salon and get them filled, you do this at about the second week of having them on. If I could have fake nails and not have to go back to the nails salon every two weeks or so that would be perfect to me.

February 14, 2013: Softball

Softball is one of my favorite sports to play in the Summer time. During softball season i play either short stop or I play center field Because I am able to through the ball a long distance. The one thing that I do not like about our field is that we do not have any lights so there are some nights if we are not finished with a game we have to call it done because we can not see where the ball is going. I also do not like our field because when you are in the out field you are facing the sun so when the sun starts to set it is difficult to see anything. Other then those few things I am ready to kick the season off great with the girls and win some games.

February 13, 2013: Concert time

Finger nail polish is not something that you think of when you think of heavy metal bands or music, but for Bob it is. Bob is not one who is usually painting his nails but when he was at a concert with a group of friends he seen that all of them had there nails painted. As he sat and thought about if he should paint his nails or not his friend John went over to him and told Bob that it was know big deal almost all the guys do it and know one would judge him for it. As John pulled out his newly opened bottle of black nail polish and starts to paint Bobs nails Bob told John that because this was the first time he was doing this that he should be the one to do it so he would feel as though he didn't have a choice or an excuse for doing it or for not doing it. After it was all done Bob looked down at his nails and thought that it wasn't that bad and he was going to start painting his nails more often.

February 12, 2013: Not liking free writes

I am not a person to be able to think of something off the top of my head and write on it. I need someone to tell me what to write on even if it is a general thing so I can in a way have a small boost and once I have that general thing I am good to go. Writes are also a good thing because they are to help get your brain thinking and to get a person to writing on things even if they jump from one thing to another. They help everyone to become a better writer. Still yet  it has always been a challenge for me to write on whatever comes to mind because most of the time I have already wrote on that subject. I am in a way glad the our teacher is making us do free writes because in the long run it will help us not only with this class but it will also help us when we go to college.

February 11, 2013: Right hand vs Left hand

Today we were told to write on our right and left hands. I am right hand dominant. I am on of those people that if something were to happened to my right hand for an extended period of time I would not know how to do many things with my left hand, but if something were to happen to my left hand I would be just fine because I would be able to do almost everything other than a few sympal things like cutting food and even putting my hair up into a pony tail holder. Needless to say I prefer my right hand over my left hand.

February 5, 2013: Cheer Clinic

At the beginning of next week the high school cheerleaders will be having a cheer clinic for grades kindergarten through sixth, pre kindergarten can also participate in this as well. The clinic will last three days and the time we are in the clinic is 3:15 P.M to 5:00 P.M. In the two hours we have the kids we teach them a dance that is about four eight counts, a cheer, and a chant that they will preform on the senior night for basketball players and cheerleaders on February 14, 2013. For the kids that do the cheer clinic they will receive a T-shirt that they will all wear the night they preform the dance, cheer, and chant. As always we hope to have a lot of girls and even boys if they so chose to come and be ready to work hard, and maybe even play a game to too.

February 4, 2013: Tennis Shoes and Sandals

Tennis shoes and sandals have nothing in common other then they are worn by everyone at some point in the year know mater if it is Summer, Spring, Fall, or Winter. I personally like sandals better then tennis shoes because in the Spring and Summer they can be worn everyday. I can also just slip them on and go if I am in a rush to go somewhere. Sandals are more of not really a dressy shoe but you can wear an outfit than can make the shoes look more dressy.

Tennis shoes are one kind of shoe that I do not wear that often even though they can be vary comfortable and cute. A lot of people wear tennis shoes everyday but they also wear them for many sports activities and or just for exercising. I think that tennis shoes are a piece of clothing that every person needs to have in their closet.

February 1, 2013: Salt Shakers

Salt shakers come in handy for someone everyday at almost every meal. Their are many different kinds of salt shakers. They are all different in size, shape, color, and they are made by many different materials. Salt shakers are different from any other object that people think of. When I see a salt shaker I always like to think of my grandpa because he is one of those people who use a salt shaker at almost every meal all year around but even more in the spring and summer.

January 30, 2013: Washington and Obama

George Washington was one of the founding fathers in this nation. The time George was alive the world then is much more different then the world today. We all know that he was our nations first president and he did all he could to make a strong nation for all people to live. He we the highest ranking man at the time and even though he was new at running a country he had a pretty good idea of what needed to be done and how to fix the problems that we were faced with. Along with George Washington today we have Obama who became our first black president in 2009 but was elected to be our president in 2008. Now he is in his second term and working hard to keep our country strong and together. Obama in a way is much like Washington because he knows how important it is to know all you can know about the world around so you can know what needs to be done with your own country. And hopefully after this four years the presidents that are to come will be able to keep this nation as strong as it is now or stronger.

January 29, 2013: School lockers

Lockers at Risco are old and small, not to mention half of them are broken and cant be opened. I think a small school like Risco should have lockers that are a little bit larger or the school needs to replace all of the lockers as a hole because some are so old the bottoms are falling out and books and other papers that students need for class are getting lost and even ruined. If there was a chance that we were to get more students they would have a locker and hopefully they would not have to share a locker with another student. The one thing I would not want to happen is for the school to put in the lockers that are only half the size in length because it would be harder for some students to get their things and not be late for class.

January 28, 2013: Apples vs Oranges

Apples and oranges are completely different in many ways. Apples along with oranges are eaten by almost everyone I can think of but not liked by many either. Even though they are liked by everyone they are different in many ways. Apples are bigger then an orange. They have a shiny outer covering that most people either peal off or they eat it. When they are bitten into they are very sweet in taste and soft but not mooshy like apple sauce. Not to mention that there are three main kinds around here.

Oranges on the other hand are a little bit bigger than a baseball and have a outer covering that needs to be pealed off so the orange can be eaten. oranges can be sour and very juice. I am not one of those people who like both apples and oranges, if someone was to ask me which I would rather have it would be the apple because oranges are to sour, juice, stringy and they have seeds that have to be picked out.

January 25, 2013: Aglets

What is the little plastic thing on the end of my shoe lace? Well that plastic thing is called an aglet. Some people might think that they are a bad thing but some might also say they are one of the many great things that were invented. I am not sure if I like them or if I do not like them, they have their pros and cons. I think they were a bad invintion because if you think bake to when you were a child and you would always have on a pair of shoes that had laces on them but at some point in time they would start to brake off and it would take you or your mom or dad a long time to try and get the lace back though the hole. After so long they would just give up and buy a new pair of shoe laces. On the other hand they are a good invintion because they hold the ends of your laces together so you do not have to take a long time to lace your shoe. I feel as though they componys that make aglets have improved in the way they make aglets because they are stronger now then they were in the past.

January 22, 2013: Candy and grandparents

As a child I would go to see my grandparents. When I would walk in the door and give them a hug and say hi, the first thing my grandma would say to me after I said hi was would you like some candy or a snack and every time I would say yes. If there was ever a time that I would say no my grandma would think that I was about to get sick or something was wrong.

I think that grandparents giving their grandchildren sweets and food that is bad for them is what makes a grandparent so special and that know matter what they will do anything for their grandchildren. Even if we are mean and get in trouble we always know that they mean well and will still love us.

January 21,2013: Kyle's airplane

Kyle has just ended his training on how to fly airplanes. He had just received his first full-time job at an airport flying. After he returns from his first trip he notices that his air is not working and he is about to go on a twenty-four hour round trip fight and he will need his air, he tells his boss what had happened and explains that he will need the air in the plain fixed fast or they will have to triad his plain for one of the extra one's they keep for emergence's or cases like this.

Kyle's boss comes to him and lets him know that he is unable to order the parts needed to fix the problems with the air at this time so kyle will have to use this airplane for know more than two weeks. This will give him time to get the parts and for the mechanics to put all the parts together the right way. Though Kyle enjoys his airplane more than this one he knows the importance of making sure everything is working right he says okay and goes on with his normal day.

January 18,2013: Tissues

Tissues are a very helpful thing. When I have to bye tissues I would much rather use Puffs Kleenex over any other brand of tissue. I feel as though that they do not feel like I am putting paper that I write on to my face but they are not to soft there it feels like nothing is there. they do not have to hard of a feel or to soft of a feel. I also like the Puffs Kleenex with lotion because for me they help to sooth my nose.

January 17, 2013: Homecoming 2013

Homecoming is one of those things where you love it but at the same time you hate it because it is both fun and exciting but at the same time it is more then stressful. There is many things that take place from the tie we start in November till the day of homecoming in the middle of January. You have to come up with a dance and a cheer that needs to but taught to the other cheerleaders, collect all of the materials that will be needed to decorate the lobby and gym area, and lastly make sure everything is perfect.

I feel as though the dance and decorating are the two hardest things to do because the dance has to be at least three minuets long and in order to make sure that all of the decorating is done people have to stay up till at least one or one-thirty because the only time we can decorate is the night before homecoming. Even though it is a lot of work it is more than worth it when everything is done and put together.

January 15,2013: Spring time

I feel as though Winter should be over as soon as posible because I am not a cold weather person. I enjoy the worm weather and the wind blowing, but not enough to where it makes it feel cooler outside than what the temperature really is. When Winter comes around I begin to become a sad and grumpy person because the sun is almost never out and if it is than it is covered by clouds and I don't know what to do with myself.

I think almost every person I know is more of a Spring and Summer person because this is the time where kids are almost out of school for the summer and there are many activities that can be done like camping, swimming, for some people Summer time sports, but there are many more things that can be done these are just a few. I do not know about others but I know I can keep myself busy all day as long as I do not have to sit inside for a long period of time.

January 14, 2013: Semo vs. CofO

The first college that I have gone to tour was the College of the Ozarks. I also went to tour Semo in Cape. Even though both of these schools have an amazing education program there are other things that need to be looked at as well. Both of these colleges are good colleges but if I had to choose between the two colleges I would first have to look at the pros and cons of each school. If you are a person that needed to do everything they could to get their school payed for with out going into debt i would go to CofO because they are a school where you can work on the Campos and go to school for free because if you work on the Campos the money you have earned helps pay for all of your classes, your food plan, even your room.

Semo on the other hand does not have these things but that is not to say that there are not scholarships that are fast and easy to fill out that can be used for the same things as CofO, not only are there scholarships but there is financial aid that if you meet the requirements for you will be able to get that as well.

January 11, 2013: sand

When I think of the word sand I think of a word summer day laying out on the beach relaxing with know one around to disturb you. Sand can be a mess to get off of your towels or even clothing but that does not bother me when I think about the relaxing time that I just had. I also think about a group of friends hanging out by a lake swimming and having a good time and not having to worry about what time it is, just being out where enjoying the time that you have to spend together. Sand brings back many memories of family trips that we have taking to Florida and having the best time because we do not have to think about the things that we left behind us and to just have time to think about us as a family. If a person were to ask me what my favorite memory involving sand it would be the year that my mom, dad, both sisters, my grandma on my dads side, my great grandma on my moms side, one of my friends and I spent a week in Florida. I could not tell you how many hours we spent laying out on the beach enjoying the company of each other.

January 10, 2013: college

I have recently became more excited about entering the world of college and the new things that will be coming my way and the choices that I will have to make. I want to be able to make more of my own decisions and choose the things that I think will be best for me and the road I want to go down. As I am saying these things I think of a time where my teacher told our class that if we want to be the best we can be then we need to take the hard way of doing things and not the easy way because if we take the easy path we would be cheating ourselves out of the things that we want the most.

January 9, 2013: Story

Zach has just graduated high school and is about to start college in the fall at the community college in the near by town so he can do his basics then he will go to school to become a chef. In order for Zach to pay for his schooling he needed to go and find a part-time job so he can go to college at the same time. As soon as Zach graduated high school he went and found a job at a restaurant as a cook. Because Zach is attending college for cooking he decides that he needs a job that will allow him to cook and be creative which he likes.

At the end of Zach's school he receives a job at a nice restaurant in the city that pays extremely well and Zach takes it because it is one of the best restaurants he has eaten at he thinks it would be an honer to be able to cook for the men that he looks up to the most.

January 8, 2013 The next stage

Now that I am about to end high school I feel a mixture of emotions, I feel like I am ready to move on and go to college but then again I feel as though I am not because I do not know what is about to come. Deep down I know that I am ready because I have had the last thirteen years to preppier for this next step. Along the way many teachers have helped me preppier for college and how to become ready for anything that will come my way and I am more than thankful for all of them.
 
I know that much is about to change but I do not want them to. As long as I have teachers that will still be willing to help with papers and answer any questions I have and a family that would bend over backwards for me I know that I will be able to do anything I set my mind to.

January 7, 2013 Circles or Squares

Circles and squares are different in many ways. I like squares better than circles because they have a shape and they are Sharp and clean where circles can be bigger on one side and small on the other which makes the object look sloppy.

January 4, 2013; Chairs

   Chair are one of the best things invented that people are about to sit on. I would much rather sit in a chair that is about to lean back far enough that I can take a nap in. To me a lazy boy is one of the best kinds of chairs because it is big enough that I can sleep in it when I feel sleepy, but it also sit's up streaght enough that you are able to watch tv.
  
   Chairs can also be a bad thing for some people because they take advantage of the object by not wanting to get out of the chair to do work that needs to be done at work or around the house. this can couse people to want to become lazy and start to eat and become over weaight.
